What the role is: You are responsible for managing a range of operational duties and overseeing enforcement actions and case management. You will also review the existing penalty framework to assess its effectiveness, consistency, and alignment with policy objectives.
What you will be working on: - Serve as the primary point of contact on a rotational shift basis, manning the 24-hour Duty Operations Phone, managing walk-in cases involving self-surrendering offenders, and overseeing their statement taking and deployment of cases.
- Manage cases requiring referral to the police station, including conducting body searches, applying handcuffs, and escorting offenders to the police station.
- Manage day-to-day statement taking, ensuring that all enquiries, tracing efforts, house visits, and follow-ups meet the established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), while maintaining accurate case documentation admissible for legal proceedings.
