Responsibilities

Estimating and Bid Preparation

• Review contract documents, including drawings, specifications, and tender forms.
• Develop detailed quantity takeoffs using industry-standard software.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractor work.
• Develop preliminary construction schedules and project logistics planning.
• Assist in identifying and addressing ambiguities or unique technical requirements in bid documents.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotes.
• Contribute to the development of bid preparation schedules and ensure deadlines are met.
