Overview

Responsible for fusing pipe of various diameters by means of electric welding processes. Repair damaged or broken metal objects. Responsible for the layout and flame cutting of metals with a cutting torch. Oversee operation of tapping, plugging and freeze equipment during service work assignments to ensure safe and proper use of equipment and satisfactory completion of job. Perform work assignments that conform with established capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Secure necessary jigs, fixtures, and filler material to properly perform welding operations on a variety of metals and alloys; keep up to date on all equipment maintenance and operational procedures to ensure safe, proper maintenance and use of equipment and satisfactory completion of job.
