Position Overview


Job Description:
  • Lead fire safety and compliance design for multidisciplinary building projects
  • Deliver rational fire designs, including smoke control, stair pressurisation, and sprinkler systems
  • Manage medium to large projects independently or within a broader design team
  • Represent projects in client engagements, design reviews, and site meetings
  • Oversee tender documentation, project administration, and technical outputs
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers within the team

Skills & Experience:
  • Minimum 10+ years experience in fire engineering within building services
  • Strong expertise in SANS fire codes and rational fire safety design
  • In‑depth experience in sprinkler systems, smoke control, and fire protection design
