This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a role that will focus your firefighting skills into the area of aviation rescue and firefighting.
Responding to emergency incidents/ accidents at RNZAF Base Woodbourne (including the airfield) and preserving life and assets will be paramount. Alongside this, you will have the opportunity to be involved in a range of exercises and events that are unique to working within a military aviation environment.
We are looking for experienced Firefighters who are strong team players and enjoy being part of a professional, friendly and collaborative team.
As part of our emergency response service, travel to other locations within NZ will be required at times.
It's important that you are able to work rostered shifts. You will be well compensated for this with a salary loading payment on top of your salary.
