Senior Inspector of Works (Civil & Structural)

Responsibilities

Inspect and supervise civil and structural construction works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements, and relevant statutory regulations.

Monitor the quality of materials, workmanship, and construction methods to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

Witness site tests, inspections, and material sampling in accordance with the Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) requirements.

Identify and report non-conformance, defects, or deviations from approved drawings and specifications, and monitor corrective actions until satisfactory completion.

Maintain accurate site inspection records, daily reports, and photographic documentation of construction progress.

Coordinate with the Superintending Officer, consultants, contractors, and relevant authorities on site-related issues.
