POST: Senior Lecturer: Mechanical Engineering (Post Level 2)

SALARY: R per annum plus benefits

DURATION: Permanent Appointment

Requirements: Senior Certificate plus a relevant three-year teaching qualification (REQV 13) with 3 years’ lecturing experience in the following subjects: Mechanical Engineering subjects. Computer Literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), SACE registration, Assessor/Moderator qualification. Knowledge of legislation governing the sector.

Duties: Manage enrolment in line with targets within the section. Ensure effective curriculum delivery on different modes including blended learning. Develop and implement assessment plans in line with the division and campus plans. Monitoring of student and lecturer attendance, develop and implement strategies to improve attendance.
