The Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Faculty of Medicine - Dunedin are committed to advancing obstetric, gynaecological and women’s health care and improving health outcomes in Aotearoa through comprehensive education, impactful research, and compassionate care guided by Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

We play a major role in the MBChB programme teaching into years 3,5, and 6 and offer postgraduate qualifications in women's health including a Certificate of Pregnancy and Medical Gynaecology, a Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and research degrees including BMedSc, Masters and PhD.
