Thisposition performs journeyman-level work and participates in mechanical and
electrical repair and operation and machinery and participates in the carpentry
operation of University buildings areas, equipment, including light wood
construction, hanging and finishing sheetrock and painting. As needed, this
position performs landscaping, moves furniture, and coordinates with other
trades.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Supervises, coordinates with other trades, and participates in electrical and mechanical repair operations to University equipment, and HVAC building systems.

Installs, maintains, and repairs electrical equipment and circuits, such as wires, control switches, outlets, junction boxes, transformers, motors, and generators in facilities; this could include washers, dryers, ranges, stoves, ovens, pumps, lighting equipment, centrifuge systems, smoke detectors, fire alarms, hypothermal units, humidifiers, thermostats, and electri...
