Job Summary
Senior Manager – Payroll Tax
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the payroll tax team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
- Oversee end‑to‑end payroll processing for client batch headcounts, including data processing.
- Prepare and submit periodic statutory returns to authorities (Income Tax, EPF, SOCSO, HRDF, Tabung Haji, etc.).
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Lead projects related to system upgrades and implementations affecting payroll tax calculations and reporting.
- Provide statutory compliance services, such as preparing annual tax forms for employers and employees (Form E & EA).
- Generate and deliver relevant payroll reports to clients.
- Advise clients on applicable legislation in the capacity of payroll specialists.
- Manage client deliverables to meet agreed timelines.
