Responsible for the entire procurement process including, but not limited to, procuring, receiving, stocking and rotating of supplies and equipment for the preoperative environments, Nursing Units, SPD, and other specialty unit areas throughout the hospital. In addition, responsible for the data management activities to ensure all data entry processes are complete and accurate, and maintaining day to day functions in the Materials Management inventory control systems.

1. Procures and manages the shelf stock of all consumables used in the preoperative environment and other assigned areas including commodity and implantable products.

2. Uses the materials management inventory control system, and handheld devices to place orders directly with vendors or Stat Stores.
