Sr. Mechanical Engineer

Location: Newport News, VA

Status: Contract 12 months with extensions

Experience level: E.I.T. or Professional License required. U.S. Citizenship also required.



SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to support the design, analysis, and oversight of complex mechanical systems within heavy industrial environments. This role requires strong technical expertise in utility distribution systems, plant mechanical systems, piping, pumps, HVAC, chilled water, and industrial process ventilation. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of applicable engineering codes and standards and be capable of supporting projects from concept through execution.
