Overview CANDU Energy Inc./AtkinsRéalis Nuclear Inc. is actively seeking qualified Senior Mechanical Machine CAD Designer to support engineering roles for nuclear projects in major areas, such as new build in the province of Ontario, international new builds, refurbishment, and continuous plant operation support modifications for nuclear power plants.

Your Role This position requires working on fast‑paced technically complex projects in the nuclear industries. Typical duties and essential functions will include but not be limited to the preparation, design, modification, coordination, and/or review of the following:

Prepare electronic documents in AutoCAD, Microstation, Solid Edge, SolidWorks and other relevant CAD tools.

Create precise 3D models for design and visualization, using Model-Based Definition (MBD) to define all product specifications.

Follow client driven file management system for document storage.
