Senior Midwife - Community

We are excited to recruit a Senior Midwife to join our Community Midwifery leadership team at United Hospital Beds of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust. You will lead clinical and professional activity, influence service delivery, and support the management team in shaping how community midwifery is delivered across our trust.

Main duties of the job

As a senior midwife you will ensure women, birthing people, babies and families receive safe, clinically effective, individualized care. You will lead by example, offer expert clinical advice, manage and support teams and the home‑birth service, and uphold Trust policies and values. You will oversee staff well‑being, conduct appraisals, manage attendance, and support inclusion and compassion across teams.
