RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Design, develop, and maintain backend APIs and services for both mobile and web platforms.

-Provide support and troubleshooting for existing systems and codebases.

-Modernize legacy CoffeeScript code by converting it to TypeScript to improve performance and scalability.

-Create clean, reusable, and efficient code that is easy to test and maintain.



QUALIFICATIONS:

-5+ yrs CoffeeScript, 3+ yrs Node.js/JavaScript.

-Extensive experience working with MySQL, DynamoDB, and Redis.

-Proficient in Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services including CloudFormation, API Gateway, and AppSync/GraphQL.

-Familiar with automation and DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Datadog, and Loggly.

-Strong knowledge of backend frameworks and libraries including Express, Lodash, Knex, and Sequelize.
