Role Overview
On behalf of our client, a rapidly growing advanced manufacturing business, we are currently recruiting a Senior Paint Technician to join their experienced production team in Portsmouth. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining production efficiency, reducing paint defects, and ensuring products are finished to the highest possible standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare, spray paint, and polish components to meet quality and customer standards.
* Apply primer, base, and topcoats to achieve high-quality finishes.
* Operate paint booths and semi-automated paint lines while maintaining production targets.
* Inspect completed work, identify defects, and support quality improvements.
* Assist with rework activities to minimise waste and maintain delivery schedules.
