Job Role: Senior Python GenAI Technology Lead

Location: Ottawa, Canada

Contract: Long Term Contract • 7+ years of strong hands-on talent with knowledge in GenAI and Python

Responsibilities

• Lead technology initiatives and deliver scalable, high-performance backend systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional global teams to design and implement production-ready solutions.
• Apply best practices in modern Python development and GenAI technologies.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of strong hands-on experience in Python and GenAI technologies.
• Typed Python (Python 3.12+)
• Asynchronous Python Programming • asyncio - Asynchronous I/O
• Aiohttp, Postgres, aiopg
• Nice to have: Python projects that use UV and FastAPI
• Kubernetes experience
• Google Cloud Platform experience
• Experience with SCRUM or similar agile development methodology
