Position Overview

  • Assist to prepare detailed cost estimates for the tender.
  • Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
  • Quantity take-offs from drawings, specifications, and tender documents using Plan Swift /AUTOCAD .
  • Preparation of (RFQ) packages for sub-contractors and sending inquiry and follow up to get quotations.
  • Reading tender addendums / revised drawings and revising quantities accordingly.
  • Quantity take-off for rebar/reinforcement in details as per structural drawings.
  • Understating of scope of works and take quantities.
  • Highlighting discrepancies between drawings & BOQ and specification to Sr. QS to prepare Request for Information (RFI)
  • Preparation of comparison statements.
  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
