ROLE OVERVIEW

Working on interfaces and interactions between the Payload and the rest of the Satellite (Platform) at system level, during design, AI&T, and in-orbit operations. Daily coordination with Payload, C&DH OBDH, Satellite Operations, FSW, FDIR teams. Responsible for all interface control documents (ICDs).

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• 7+ years systems engineering at satellite level for telecom satellites (ideally digital payload)
• Sub-system experience in 1+ of: Communication Payload, FSW, C&DH, FDIR, Satellite Operations
• Ability to coordinate payload-related satellite tests in AI&T
• Experience in phases B/C/D/E of space programs
• Owns/produces Mechanical and Electrical ICDs
• Excellent coordination and interpersonal skills
• 50%+ on-site in Montreal
