Responsibilities
Perform maintenance and repair jobs on Wärtsilä products.
Fulfil tasks given by the Field Service Team Leader.
Use and maintain shop and field tools in accordance with good mechanical‑work practices.
Prepare and submit parts requisitions as required.
Maintain current individual time sheets and expense records to support the timely invoicing of jobs to customers.
Maintain a professional appearance and conduct.
Maintain the quality and efficiency of mechanical work performed (as measured by warranty costs), in accordance with manufacturer specifications and ISO procedures.
Accurately and timely care of Wärtsilä specialty tools (field & shop) used to perform service work.
Ensure customer satisfaction with job performance through positive interactions with customers.
Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.
Conform to all safety rules and use appropriate safety equipment.
