Responsibilities

• Own the long-term technical direction of Roo's frontend platform, including systems, tooling, and architecture for web and mobile
• Partner with Product and Design to evolve the design system as a foundational platform
• Make the design system effortless to consume for engineers, designers, and AI agents
• Lead platform initiatives like framework upgrades, React Native modernization, and Expo adoption
• Own the migration of legacy components to the v2 design system
• Improve developer experience through shared tooling, automation, and documentation
• Identify and eliminate friction points that slow down builders

Requirements

• Significant experience building production software with a focus on frontend systems
• Deep expertise in React and TypeScript
• Experience with React Native or mobile development
• Experience working with modern design systems and Figma
