Position Overview Mira Construction is seeking an experienced Construction Structural Engineer to provide head‑office supervision and reporting to the Resident Engineer.
Responsibilities - Assist in supervising the construction of structural-related works.
- Coordinate activities with other engineers and members of the construction supervision team.
- Review shop drawings, design proposals, method statements and related documentation.
- Coordinate with design engineers to resolve related issues.
- Maintain daily diaries and reports by inspectors.
- Direct, assist and monitor the performance of inspectors and surveyors as applicable.
- Convene and chair special meetings with service authorities, contractors, subcontractors and other parties related to the work.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of records.
- Ensure safety goals are achieved and oversee implementation of safety procedures on the project. ...
