The role
As part of our Engineering and Sustainment Services group, the Senior Safety Engineer will mentor engineers, provide technical guidance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives. Additionally, they will be develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and reports, conduct system testing and validation, and drive continuous improvement initiatives for systems within the engineering department.
Further, the successful candidate will:
Contribute to the Combat Systems safety program by engaging Combat Systems Delivery teams in product safety and environmental safety assessment activities.
Coordinate with the delivery teams to gather the OQE to mature the safety products.
