Job Summary

The Senior Technical Assistance Officer (STAO) reports to the Division Chief of the ICDGP Global Partnerships Division and focuses on expanding the IMF’s fundraising base in Asia while developing new partnerships. The STAO is based in the IMF office in Singapore, will manage a three‑year assignment, and is expected to begin in Fall.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead and drive fundraising efforts to mobilize external financing for IMF CD from new partners in Asia to help expand the IMF’s donor base.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with government authorities, development agencies, and regional organizations to support fundraising objectives.
• Represent the IMF in selected engagements with current and prospective donor partners.
• Serve as a key interface between ICDGP headquarters and regional partners, coordinating closely with IMF departments and field offices.
