Job Description
• Schedule: 30 hours per week (6 hours/day).
• Start date: Immediate
• 1–5-year contract

This person will serve as the lead technical resource for a critical network environment supporting fire lab research in Missoula, MT. On a day-to-day basis, they will act as the primary point of contact for the customer, oversee network operations, provide guidance on technology strategy, and handle complex Tier 3 network issues that cannot be resolved by the onsite fully Network Engineer. They will also support project planning, cost estimates, compliance efforts, documentation, and overall program success while proactively identifying risks and communicating with leadership. The role combines hands-on network engineering with technical leadership and project management responsibilities.
