The Automation Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining plant automation systems, performs equipment/server recovery and preventive maintenance, and assist engineers with continuous improvement and spare part management.
Your Role Key Responsibilities - Troubleshoot, recover and resolve equipment breakdown on plant automation equipment e.g. Autonomous Mobile Robot, Automated Strapping and Unstrapping Equipment, Automated Materials Handling System, Overhead Transportation System, Automated Storage & Retrieval System, Automated Packing Equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic computer hardware and software issues independently / with IT engineer assistance.
- Perform system & server recovery on automation / manufacturing systems e.g. storage system, transportation system, remote command center.
