Senior Underwriter I, Property – Everest Insurance Company Of Canada. This is a hybrid position requiring work out of the Toronto office. Everest Canada is building a dynamic Commercial Property team, and you will work with the national underwriting team and review accounts from across Canada. Marketing to producers to secure new and renewal business. Reviewing submissions, terms and conditions, statements of values, loss history, and catastrophe modeling; conduct research to determine risk level based on company guidelines and underwriting authority. Coordinate with business divisions (Engineering, Actuarial, Claims, Reinsurance, Accounting, Marketing, Regulatory, and others) that support the business. Determine whether to quote or decline risks.
