Role Overview

Senior Underwriter at Northbridge Insurance customizes solutions for our personal lines clients and works closely with our broker network to develop unique solutions for all classes of risk.

Responsibilities

• Maintain strong relationships with brokers through timely email and phone communication, and regular in-person meetings.


• Collaborate with a cooperative team, providing coaching, mentoring, and development from more experienced underwriters to grow risk assessment skills.


• Customize underwriting solutions for personal lines clients, applying knowledge of underwriting manuals, policy contracts, rating programs, risk information sources, statutory constraints, and computer workflow procedures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of underwriting experience.


• Post‑secondary education and/or equivalent on‑the‑job experience.
