Services for Older Refugees Specialist

Description/Job Summary

This position is responsible for assessing the needs of senior refugees (60+ years) living in the Baltimore area and coordinating referrals to services. This includes, but is not limited to, registering clients for Citizenship classes, referrals to English language classes, and referrals to local and mainstream aging services providers

Responsibilities/Duties

Essential Job Functions:

Provide information to program participants on services in their area and facilitate access to services

Identify and establish relationships with local mainstream aging service providers

Conduct activities to familiarize refugees, partners, agencies, and other stakeholders with available services, explain purpose of service, and facilitate access.
