Settlement Health Coordinator

Location: St. John’s, NL

Position Type: 1 full-time position until March 31, 2027, with possibility of extension pending budget availability and satisfactory performance.

Reporting to the Social Work & Health Services Manager, the Settlement Health Coordinator will manage day-to-day supervision of the Settlement Health Team and coordinate health-related services to clients, ensuring access to health services and appropriate support for a seamless client experience.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Connect newcomers with health services, including primary care, mental health services, and specialized healthcare.
• Liaise with healthcare providers and community organizations to ensure clients have access to culturally appropriate healthcare.
• Conduct assessments to identify health needs of clients, including barriers to accessing healthcare services.
