Shaws Creek Aboriginal Place Reference Group

Applications are currently being sought for appointments to the Shaws Creek Aboriginal Place Reference Group in Yellomundee Regional Park, NSW. Shaws Creek Aboriginal Place is in the traditional lands of the Boorooberongal clan of the Dharug.

The Shaws Creek Aboriginal Place Reference Group play an essential role in representing community interests in the overall management of Shaws Creek Aboriginal Place. Members will make strategic recommendations to the National Parks and Wildlife Service on the management and future of Shaws Creek Aboriginal Place.

Membership composition will consider:

• Connection to the Aboriginal Place through Boorooberongal clan or wider

   Dharug community

• Female and male representation

• Representation supporting continuity and transfer of knowledge to inform
