POSITION SUMMARY:
The Shift Supervisor ensures day-to-day safe and efficient operation of the Plant and provides leadership, coaching, training, and direction to employees.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plans and directs production activities and establishes production priorities for products consistent with effective operations and cost factors.Ensures products are manufactured with an emphasis on quality and strict adherence to specifications and standards.Reviews and analyzes production, quality control, maintenance, and operational reports to determine causes of nonconformity with product specifications, operation and/or production problems.Supervises production by maintaining a high level of visibility and involving employees in decision-making and problem solving and managing Production Employee performance.Participates in the hiring process in partnership with HR.Responsible for ...
