Shipping and Supply Chain Coordinator

Location: Basingstoke

Salary: £27,000 – £29,000

Position Overview

• Plan and supervise shipments from production to the end user for machinery and spare parts
• Ensure compliance with shipping legislation
• Work closely with purchasing and stores to align shipment readiness with product completion timelines
• Manage shipping documentation such as shipping notices, pick slips, bills of lading, etc.
• Liaise with stores and production to ensure products are stored and distributed correctly
• Provide tracking details to customers
• Monitor transportation costs and research cost‑effective shipping methods

Requirements

• Experience in a shipping, logistics, or supply chain coordination role, ideally in engineering or manufacturing
• Understanding of export procedures and documentation
