Shipping Operations Officer - Entry Full‑time on‑site role in Singapore within Fortescue Steel, focusing on shipping operations and vessel management.
Key Responsibilities - Send voyage instructions and manage agency appointments.
- Monitor vessel ETAs, update IMOS, and oversee freight payments, LOI, and post‑fixture matters.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Department on vessel updates, requirements, and disputes.
- Facilitate vessel scheduling at load‑port and coordinate with the scheduling/chartering team to maximize Port Hedland berth occupancy.
- Maintain data accuracy in IMOS, SEDNA, and LOI systems.
- Calculate laytime settlements with marketing and final freight settlements with owners.
- Provide review and feedback to management on external vendor services and experience.
- Ensure accurate P&L reporting for operated vessels.
- Work in line with Fortescue Values.
