Responsible for assisting with the overall operations of the Solid Waste Management site, including assisting public, completing required documentation, operating weigh scales, maintaining and keeping the site tidy and in order.

Shift: Monday = Wednesday and Friday = Saturday

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (not listed in order of priority)

1. Operation of electronic weigh scales - assessment and collection of tippage fees.

2. Completion of all required landfill and transfer station documentation, compost logs, daily disposal sheets etc.

4. Deal effectively and professionally with customers and contractors in a positive and courteous manner, including conflict resolution.

5. Manage and remove contaminants from divertable materials.

6. Operation of Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Depot including accepting materials from customers, placing material and/or bulking materials appropriate...
