Duties and responsibilities (not limited to): ? Manage and handling day-to-day operations of the drilling and blasting on site ? Daily compliance inspections on drill and blast blocks. ? Implementing and managing of drill and blast blocks as per mine planning. ? Managing of workplace safety, explosives handling, storage, and ensure transport protocols are adhered to. ? Monitor and ensure quality control in drilling and blasting, assessing blast outcomes, fragmentation and environmental impact. ? Preparing regular weekly and monthly reports. ? Lead, mentor and train a team of drilling and blasting personal fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety ? Assist the PM Department with recruitment, onboarding, payroll and Disciplinary actions ? Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and all records are in order. ?
