The Alma Mater Society (AMS) is the oldest student association in Canada and has been a central student organization at Queen's since its founding in 1858. Today, the AMS acts as a service, advocacy, and governing body on behalf of all students enrolled in AMS‑affiliated programs at Queen's University. It is a not‑for‑profit entity created to ensure its financial viability by overseeing the management of its services and associated financial affairs, bound by its Constitution, Mission, and Operating statements.
The AMS Marketing Office’s responsibility is to remain relevant and persuasively demonstrate to students all of the work the AMS does and the resources we provide. The Marketing Office works alongside the AMC, Commissioners, Deputies, and Directors to curate marketing plans that successfully orchestrate campaigns.
