Job Overview

Social Media Specialist reporting to the Marketing Manager is responsible for creating and publishing content on our social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube. The objective is to grow our audience, build brand awareness, and ultimately boost sales. The role also includes video editing support for the Makita Canada YouTube account.

Key Responsibilities

• Create monthly launch campaigns, support digital marketing initiatives, and collaborate with internal e-commerce partners to deliver our digital marketing objectives.
• Plan, implement, and manage all digital marketing campaigns from start to finish.
• Develop and implement email marketing campaigns to end‑users and dealers frequently.
• Create infographics, images, videos, and marketing content for social media, search, and other digital marketing campaigns using Adobe Creative Cloud.
