Oxfordshire County Council is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join the Children We Care For (CWCF) service.This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and young people in care, ensuring they receive high-quality, stable care and achieve positive long-term oues. You will work with children subject to Section 20 and Section 31, supporting a variety of permanence plans including fostering, adoption, kinship, and transitions to independence.

Your new role

Key Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of looked after children and care leavers

Undertake care planning, assessments, and statutory visits

Develop and review Care Plans and Pathway Plans

Support children in achieving permanency oues (adoption, fostering, reunification)

Promote the voice of the child in all planning and decision-making

Work closely with carers, families, and partner agencies
