About the Role

Coventry City Council is seeking an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join the West Team within Children's Services. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and established case-holding team, working directly with children and families to deliver effective safeguarding interventions and positive outcomes.

Rate: £28.55 per hour (Umbrella)

As a Social Worker within the West Team, you will manage a varied caseload and work with children and families requiring statutory support and intervention.

Completing Child and Family Assessments
Undertaking Child Protection Enquiries
Working with Children in Need, Child Protection and Looked After Children
Supporting families through the Public Law Outline (PLO) process
Initiating care proceedings where required
