Position Overview
**Overview**
The Social Worker II is a therapist, under the guidance of a supervising licensed clinician, to children who have experienced or may be at risk for trauma through physical abuse, sexual abuse, neglect, domestic and community violence and negative social conditions. The incumbent utilizes information gained by the interdisciplinary evaluation services and diagnostic interview to develop and implement a treatment plan for the child and their family.
**Responsibilities**
1. Provide weekly individual, family or group, psychotherapy services to children and their families.
2. Attend interdisciplinary staffing to discuss and integrate the evaluation information and to develop a comprehensive treatment plan responding to the psychological and social needs of the client/family.
