JOB SUMMARY

The MSW, LCSW of Valley Medical Group (adult-women's behavioral health) functions as a psychotherapist; evaluates the mental status of clients and provides the needed therapeutic intervention. This intervention can be individual, marital or family. Psychoanalytic psychotherapy and cognitive behavioral principles are among the modalities used. Demonstrates an understanding of, and embraces, the mission statement of the Christian Health.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

Master's degree in social work and LCSW required.At least two years' experience in a hospital or psychiatric outpatient clinic preferred. Previous experience in a women's and/or children's mental health setting is preferred.
