We are seeking an experienced Software Development Manager to lead the EKS Lighthouse team — the experience and intelligence layer of Amazon's Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS). Lighthouse owns how customers observe, diagnose, and manage their Kubernetes clusters at scale through EKS Console, APIs, multi-cluster dashboard, and AI-enabled diagnostic workflows.

This role combines technical leadership, people management, and strategic thinking to drive the future of container orchestration and influence how AWS simplifies Kubernetes management at scale.

Responsibilities:

Own staffing and manage a two-pizza engineering team that creates and operates integration services at scale.

Define product roadmaps, build team culture, develop best practices, and continually improve the overall experience for integrating with EKS.

Deal with ambiguity, solve complex problems at scale, and maintain operational/technical excellence.
