PGS Worldwide is seeking a Software Engineer in Camarillo, CA for a one year contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This role supports EA-18G programs, including Growler Block 1 and Growler Block 2 software development. The Software Engineer will develop embedded real-time system software, support defect resolution, and collaborate with customers and internal engineering teams in an Agile environment.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with 5 years of experience; or master’s degree in a STEM field with 3 years of experience


• Experience with a higher-order language such as Ada, C/C++, or C#


• Knowledge of object-oriented software development


• Ability to function as a member of an integrated team


• Experience with version control systems such as Git, Bitbucket, or ClearCase
