Jacobs/BlackLynx is seeking a Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience in designing, building, integrating, and supporting mission-focused software systems. This role is primarily hands-on backend software development, with opportunities to contribute to architecture, Agile delivery, DevSecOps practices, and technical leadership.

The ideal candidate has strong Python experience, understands object-oriented design, and is comfortable working with APIs, containers, messaging queues, and distributed systems. Experience with aerospace, defense, modeling and simulation, or mission-planning systems is a plus.
