The Blockchain Platform Team

The Blockchain Platform team is the connective tissue of Kraken's engineering organization. Every team that touches blockchain data depends on the infrastructure we build. We abstract away the complexity of dozens of different chain protocols, so that teams across Kraken can move fast without becoming blockchain experts themselves.

We own the systems that handle node interactions, block ingestion & parsing, balance tracking, and on-chain data at scale. The work is technically demanding, the surface area is broad, and the impact is direct: if we do our job well, the rest of Kraken does theirs better.
