Position Detail:

+ Full-time, 36 hours per week, hourly position

This is a dual role position - the standard weekly schedule includes three 8-hour days in the School of Nursing and one 12-hour day on the hospital unit. Due to the academic calendar, the School of Nursing may have a decreased need for employee hours. Should that occur, the employee will be expected to supplement the hospital unit by working all or increased hours on the unit if you do not wish to use PTO.

Purpose:
As a dual practicing nurse and instructor, the Professional Nurse/Nursing Instructor demonstrates a commitment to the community and to the nursing profession.
