**Description**

Summary: This position is responsible perform assigned duties in the crushing/ preparation and conveyance of the raw material into to process facility. Compass is looking to fill this position at a B or B+ level. Conducts tasks in a safe and efficient manner. Is responsible for the inspection, care and cleaning of the assigned operating area. Shift work is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: (Management reserves the right to add or modify the duties and responsibilities at any time.)

+ Conducts routine sampling of raw material fed to the process facility.
+ Forwards material to the control room for analysis.
+ Obtains a shift composite sample and forwards to the lab for analysis, continuously inspects 20-30 pieces of equipment in the assigned area of responsibility.
+ This includes crushers, conveyor systems, pumps, idlers, gearboxes and motors.
