Our client is seeking a passionate and experienced Sous Chef to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining excellent kitchen standards, assisting with stock control, and overseeing kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef.
Requirements:
Diploma in Professional Cookery (City & Guilds or equivalent)
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar chef role
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food preparation best practices
Experience with stock takes, ordering, and stock management
Proficient in MS Office and restaurant management software
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
