Position Overview

The successful candidate will work closely with lodge management and staff to deliver exceptional guest dining experiences. This role is ideally suited to a mature and operationally involved chef who leads by example and thrives within a smaller, team-oriented lodge environment where every staff member contributes actively to daily operations.

Candidate Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations and assist with the preparation, cooking, and presentation of all meals
  • Ensure consistently high standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene, and guest satisfaction
  • Execute menus in line with lodge standards and guest expectations
  • Manage stock control, ordering, stock rotation, and kitchen administration
  • Monitor food costs, wastage, and kitchen controls effectively
